The MCA was founded in 1995 with the name of Mekong River Culture and Art Guesthouse with the dual mission of creating opportunities for cultural and artistic exchange and offering high-quality guesthouse accommodation to visitors from around the world.

SleepyFish Lodge is a brand new guesthouse, owned by westerners, but built with a traditional Bai flavor.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Dali Old Town.

Opened in January, 2010, the Jade Roo is the Sister Guesthouse to the Jade Emu International Guesthouse. It has its very own special character and is full of great facilities for the travelers. The Jade Roo has several room types unavailable at the Jade Emu (such as singles, 5 bed dorms and family suites) and so is a perfect compliment to the Jade Emu. Guests choosing to stay at the Jade Roo have full access to the Jade Emu facilities and vice versa.

Tibetan lodge located on Dali's most picturesque street, right in the centre of the ancient walled town. This inexpensive and friendly lodge offers a wide variety of local and western style foods, free internet access and an excellent launching point for other destinations.
